We want you to love your LIYU piece. If something isn't right, we make it easy to return or exchange. Below you'll find all the details on how we ship and what to do if you need to send something back.

Processing Time

All LIYU bags are made to order with care. Please allow 1–3 business days for us to process and prepare your order before it ships. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed the next business day.

Note: During peak periods (holidays, sales events) processing may take up to 5 business days. We'll notify you by email if there's any delay.

Customs & Duties: International orders may be subject to customs fees or import duties upon arrival. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the order total.

International Shipping

We currently ship to select countries worldwide. International shipping rates and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location.

  • Estimated delivery: 10–21 business days depending on destination
  • Tracking is provided for all international shipments
  • Customs clearance may add additional time to delivery
  • Import duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility

If your country is not available at checkout, please contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate your order.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking number. You can track your package through the carrier's website or by visiting your account page.

Allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to appear after you receive your shipping confirmation.

Prefer to pick up in person? Visit us at our Toronto studio and skip the shipping altogether. Select Local Pickup at checkout.

Return Policy

We stand behind the quality of every LIYU piece. If you're not completely satisfied, you may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, items must be:

  • Returned within 30 days of delivery
  • In original, unused condition
  • Free from signs of wear, odor, or damage caused by the customer
  • Accompanied by the original packaging and any tags

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned:

  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or discounted over 40%
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Items purchased with a gift card (store credit will be issued)
  • Items returned without original packaging or showing signs of use

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Visit our Customer Support page and select "Refund Request."
  2. Fill out the form with your order number and reason for return. We'll review and respond within 1–2 business days.
  3. Once approved, we'll send you a return shipping label by email.
  4. Pack your item securely in its original packaging and drop it off at the nearest carrier location.
  5. Once we receive and inspect the item, your refund will be processed within 5–10 business days.

Return Shipping Cost: For returns due to a defect or our error, return shipping is on us. For change-of-mind returns, a flat return shipping fee of $9.99 (Canada) or $14.99 (US) will be deducted from your refund.

Gift Returns

Received a LIYU item as a gift? We're happy to issue store credit for eligible returns. Please contact us with the gift order details and we'll take care of you.

Exchange Policy

Want a different colour, size, or style? We offer exchanges within 30 days of delivery on eligible items, subject to availability.

How to Request an Exchange

  1. Go to our Customer Support page and select "Exchange."
  2. Provide your order number, the item you'd like to exchange, and what you'd like instead.
  3. We'll confirm availability and send you a prepaid return label.
  4. Once we receive your return, we'll ship out your replacement within 2–3 business days.

Exchange Conditions

  • Items must be in original, unused condition with original packaging
  • Exchanges are subject to stock availability — we'll suggest alternatives if your preference is out of stock
  • Price differences will be charged or refunded as applicable
  • Shipping for the exchanged item is free within Canada and the US

If the item you'd like to exchange for is no longer available, we'll issue a full refund or store credit at your choice.
